Mining parachutes are destined for the bucket and balancing weights holding and smoothly stopping when hoisting rope or hanger breakdown.

The following types of parachutes are currently in manufacturing:

  • PTKA GOST 15850-84 for buckets with grasping by two brake cables;
  • PTKPA TC 24.08.1347-84 for buckets’ balancing weights with grasping by two brake cables;
  • PTKSHA TC 24.08.1347-84 for buckets with brake pulley with grasping by two brake cables;
  • PKLA TC 12.0174069.057-89 buckets of vertical and inclined lifts with grasping by one brake cable.
Major units of parachutes and their functions:
  1. Retarder is destined for buckets grasping in case of hoisting rope or hanger breakdown.
  2. Shock-absorbers are destined for the kinetic energy of falling bucket absorbing and for providing smooth brake of target deceleration;
  3. Joint boxes are destined for brake cables and shock-absorbing cables jointing.

The Orders and documentation
for parachutes manufacturing

For the parachutes, hangers, shock-absorbers, thimbles ordering the preliminary system review with the factory is required.

For parachutes, hangers, shock-absorbers, thimbles customers should give the specifications of the required equipment.

Specifications should be indicated in the questionnaire of definite form. And at the same time in the covering letter should be indicated the type of mine where the equipment will be used.

The type of mine should be in full form and include the bore and lift number or name of manufacturing firm (concern, factory).

Parachutes and hangers couldn’t be manufactured by modified drawings
